Refactoring Workshop
Our newest offering:
Refactoring is an essential skill for maintaining existing code. It's about reorganizing your code to make future changes easier and safer. If you've noticed that your speed of adding new features has slowed down, every new change seems to introduce new bugs, you have corners of your code that nobody wants to touch because they are afraid of breaking things, or your boss has just simply handed you a spaghetti mess and said "Here. Add this new feature." - if any of those resonate, then this class is for you. We'll cover techniques on figuring out what to tackle first, safe refactoring to manipulate code to get it under test, how to test difficult code, and various refactorings to utilize once we get the code under test. It will be a hands on workshop mostly exercises, discussions with a few key demos and slides.
This is a new offering and we will be adding more information as we create the course.
