Our newest offering: Ensemble Programming
This is a session we use to introduce the idea of ensemble programming. Ensemble programming, also known as mobbing, or mob programming is about having multiple people working together on a single computer on the same code at the same time.
People are often skeptical about ensemble programming. They are unsure how it would work or they think its inefficient. Most of those people have never tried it.
This workshop is a low-pressure way to see what all the hype is about! SAS Workshops has facilitated ensemble programming at GDevCon N.A., GDevCon (Europe) to rave reviews.
If you have ever been curious about this style of working come check it out. While we can't guarantee you will fall in love with ensemble programming, we can guarantee you will think about it in a different light and you will have a lot of fun.
All of our past participants definitely agree on that last point!
The course date for 2025 has not yet been determined.
“I've participated with Sam as the facilitator of Mob programming sessions a couple of times now and each one has been a great learning experience. He does a really good job of helping us understand the principles of mobbing and apply them in appropriately sized ways. I've walked away each time with at least one insight and usually one new trick to bring to my everyday programming habits.”
